The position emphasizes customer service at a front desk, security procedures, and the ability to work a fixed anchor shift with flexibility to scale to more hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining sign-in records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Receive and route incoming calls, deliveries, and inquiries while maintaining accurate logs and communicating relevant information to site personnel.
• Observe entry and reception areas for unusual activity and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying emergency services and/or site contacts as needed.
