Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Security Officer at a utilities location in Shreveport, LA. You will greet visitors, enforce access control, and support daily operations with professional communication and timely reporting.

You’ll work night shifts on a part-time schedule with weekly pay. The role requires 18+ (21+ for armed), high school diploma, background check, and a drug screen as applicable by law.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify ID/authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Monitor entry activity, receive/route calls, manage deliveries, and report access concerns to staff.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following emergency procedures.
• Complete required reports and communicate security observations to site leadership.
