Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer at a healthcare location in Rock Hill, SC. You will greet patients and visitors, manage access, and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional front-desk presence.

This role offers flexible daytime schedules and access to our Claim a Shift platform. A high school diploma is required; background check and drug screen may apply; lifting up to 20 lbs and 18+ years old are needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required by policy.
• Driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, staff and vendors at the front desk.
• Monitor facility access per site policies and verify visitor information and credentials.
• Observe front desk activity and security systems; report unusual conditions and deter unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with healthcare personnel and emergency responders.
• Maintain visitor logs and incident records while protecting confidential information.
