Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Lobby Reception in Detroit, MI. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor systems, and deliver outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment.

This role offers flexible day/evening shifts with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. You will be the first point of contact, maintain visitor logs, and cooperate with site leadership to ensure safety and a respectful atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed); background check required.
• Background investigation and drug screen as per laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Previous security or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, verify credentials, and manage access per site policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to incidents calmly.
• Monitor security-related systems and relay information to staff.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, and direct guests as appropriate.
