Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Visitor Services in San Francisco, CA to provide a friendly front desk presence, manage visitor access, and safeguard tenants and visitors at a busy commercial real estate location. You will monitor lobby activity, respond calmly to incidents, complete logs and reports, and coordinate with building staff and Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
Serve as the primary front desk contact, greet and direct visitors, manage visitor access procedures, and maintain accurate entry records as required by site policy.
Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, tenant or visitor inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Maintain a professional front desk presence, communicate clearly with building personnel and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required logs and reports.
