Job summary

The Michaels in Columbia, SC is hiring a Store Framing Associate to help customers create personalized framing solutions and keep the store looking clean and inviting.

You will assist customers, operate the cash register, process framing orders with quality and on time, and support omni-channel processes.

The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, some retail experience, and a willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Basic measuring skills
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter
• Retail experience preferred; experience selling products/services to customers

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs
• Build relationships with customers and create Custom Framing solutions; deliver sales and production results
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in locating products
• Assist with Omni channel processes
