Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Brighton, MI is seeking a part-time Framer to assist customers with custom framing solutions and to operate framing equipment in a busy retail environment.

You will deliver efficient framing orders, maintain the frame department, and provide friendly customer service while supporting omni-channel processes and safety standards. Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter is required.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
