Veracity Insurance is seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst Intern (PT) to support our FP&A team. This role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, and project-based analysis in a fast-paced growth environment.

The Junior Financial Analyst will assist with data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting while collaborating cross-functionally to drive insights and improve decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on corporate finance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or currently in progress)
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics (internship experience acceptable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
• Basic understanding of financial statements and financial concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to support planning and forecasting activities
• Support financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Perform project‑based financial analysis, including ROI analysis, cost analysis, and performance tracking
• Analyze variances and identify trends across financial data and reporting outputs
• Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership review
• Support scenario modeling and strategic planning initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and profitability
• Maintain and update financial data, models, and reporting tools
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support business initiatives and data-driven decision‑making
• Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
