Veracity Insurance Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst Intern (Part-Time) to support our FP&A team in Utah. The role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, and project-based analysis, providing hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The analyst will assist with data analysis, financial modeling, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to drive insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or currently in progress).
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics (internship acceptable).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and financial concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to support planning and forecasting activities.
• Support financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Perform project‑based financial analysis, including ROI analysis, cost analysis, and performance tracking.
• Analyze variances and identify trends across financial data and reporting outputs.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership review.
• Support scenario modeling and strategic planning initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and profitability.
• Maintain and update financial data, models, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support business initiatives and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
