Job summary

Marblehead Public Schools seeks a Long Term Substitute Teacher for a fourth-grade class at Marblehead Public Village Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year, roughly mid-October through mid-January 2027.

The teacher will cover all content areas, implement WIN differentiation, and follow IEP/504 accommodations. Collaboration with fourth grade colleagues and Village leadership is required; strong parent communication is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Elementary Education certification strongly preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach fourth-grade in all content areas (Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies).
• Perform district level assessments and collaborate with fourth grade colleagues.
• Attend weekly PLC meetings and after-school staff meetings.
• Communicate with fourth grade parents and caregivers; engage with families.
• Provide instruction with differentiation (WIN Block) and follow IEP/504 accommodations.
• Collaborate with Village leadership team.
