Parts ASAP in Lake Mills, IA is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for Part Time opportunities. The role involves operating a forklift, picking and packing orders, receiving shipments, and coordinating outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Starting pay is $19 per hour and pay is bi-weekly with overtime opportunities. Candidates should be safety-minded, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while supporting a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required and forklift certification or ability to certify is needed.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and shipping software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and organize inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with speed and accuracy.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips.
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Organize inventory and ensure proper storage locations.
• Build pallets and crates for safe shipment.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accuracy.
• Prepare shipping labels and coordinate outbound shipments.
• Work with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and freight companies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse.
