Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Part-Time Forklift Operator at our Kansas City, MO service center. You will move various freight types in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long, operating on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

The role starts at $25.90 per hour with a 3rd shift option and 8- to 10-hour shifts. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and access to employee resorts.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers using a forklift.
• Operate forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Assist with loading/unloading and staging freight as needed.
