Job summary

R+L Carriers, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Forklift Operator at our Wichita, KS service center. This role involves moving freight safely in and out of 53' trailers, operating a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock, and supporting warehouse operations.

The schedule is Sundays 12:00am–5:00am and Tue–Fri 3:00am–8:00am. Starting wage is $24.23 per hour, with vacation after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid vacation and

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experiences.

Responsibilities

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part-time Forklift Operators at our Wichita, KS service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests

• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment
