Job summary

AptarGroup, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Cary, Illinois to handle material movements within warehousing and distribution. You will ensure inventory integrity, support production with materials, and operate RF/barcode systems to track transactions.

The role requires forklift capability, basic math, and English communication, with a focus on teamwork and safety. Training and location-specific orientation are provided at Aptar sites.

Qualifications

• HS Degree or GED preferred.
• Certified to operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Move materials incl. lifting up to 50 lbs daily and 80 lbs periodically.
• Must read/write/speak English to communicate information.
• Ability to discern color differences in material movement.
• Good teamwork and safety mindset; hear alerts to avoid injuries.
• Warehouse experience is a plus;完成 orientation at one Aptar location.

Responsibilities

• Supply production areas with raw materials and semi-finished goods.
• Return materials to correct storage locations.
• Operate barcode RF devices for inventory control.
• Unload inbound shipments and load outbound shipments.
• Place finished goods on shuttle trailers to designated locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy on all inventoried items.
• Distribute paperwork to relevant departments.
• Communicate job activity to the next shift.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and recycling programs.
• Record truck arrivals/departures with TI Dock Scheduler (location dependent).
• Promote a safe work environment and meet BRC/GMP/ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments.

Position Summary

Responsible for the material movements within the framework of warehousing and distribution operations. Responsible for inventory integrity.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for supplying the production areas with raw materials and semi-finished goods.
• Responsible for returning raw materials and semi-finished goods to the correct storage locations
• Operate barcode RF devices for inventory control or use other business systems to execute transactions.
• Unloads and receives inbound shipments as well as prepares and loads orders for outbound shipments.
• Handles and places finished goods on shuttle trailers to designated locations.
• Maintains inventory accuracy on all inventoried items.
• Distributes paperwork to appropriate departments for processing.
• Communicate all aspects of job activity to the next shift.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and recycling programs.
• Depending on location, use TI Dock Scheduler to record truck arrivals and departures.
• Promotes and maintains a safe work environment at all times. Performs/meets the requirements of BRC/GMP/ISO in all job activities.
• Works in collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Ability to be certified on powered industrial vehicles and use of hand tools.
• Ability to move materials including bending, stooping, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds on a daily basis and up to 80 pounds periodically.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English in order to communicate and understand relevant information.
• Must be able to discern shades of color relating to material movement process
• Must possess a strong teamwork mentality and work well under pressure.
• Must be able to hear warning signals and verbal alerts to avoid injury and maintain safety
• Ability to relate/communicate with others.
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience a plus.
• Must complete new hire orientation training and demonstrate successful warehouse support for one (1) of Aptar's locations as determined by management. Locations are defined as the following: Cary South, Cary North, and McHenry.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the starting hourly rate for this role is $18.50/hour plus any applicable shift differential.
