Job summary

Caleres’ Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Lead who loves shoes and delivering an exceptional in-store experience. You’ll foster a welcoming environment, coach team members, and ensure the store is clean, well organized, and stocked with our famous styles.

You’ll drive sales, hit goals, manage pricing and inventory, and open/close shifts. You’ll embody the Famous culture, promote diversity, and help customers find the perfect fit while sharing product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Proficient in general retail practices and procedures.
• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience.
• Experience mentoring and training associates on selling and operations.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow directions from store manager.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire teammates and foster a caring, collaborative store culture.
• Drive sales and take accountability for goals and overall store performance.
• Own store operations: pricing, inventory, opening/closing, cleanliness and merchandising.
• Coordinate with partners to complete tasks and follow company policies.

• Promote diversity and inclusivity to ensure every associate feels valued.
• Suggest shoes and styles to customers to ensure the perfect fit and a memorable experience.
