Job summary

Caleres is hiring a Famous Footwear Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive store sales. You’ll keep the store welcoming and well‑stocked, greet customers, and share knowledge of trends and products to help customers find perfect fits.

You will engage with customers, support daily store operations, and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture across our brands and locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in, keep the store clean and organized.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: provide stellar customer engagement and create top-notch experiences for customers.
