Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Jamestown, RI is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker to prepare, present and serve meals as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 2:30 pm, with emphasis on safety, accuracy and friendly service.

Prior food service experience is preferred, and the role includes prep work, portion control and assisting with serving. Willing to train and no nights or weekends, with a fixed pay rate of $17.45 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans and trays to and from work stations following safety standards.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
