Job summary

Compass Group USA's Chartwells K-12 is hiring a part-time Food Service Utility in Middletown, RI, to maintain kitchen areas, clean equipment, and support daily food service operations in an educational setting.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:45 am to 2:45 pm with no nights or weekends; training is available and paid time off is offered. Prior food service experience is a plus as you contribute to a clean, safe dining environment.

• Prior food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers; steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assists with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
