Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drive Salvation Army truck/van to collect donations as scheduled.
• Distribute donations to appropriate departments and programs.
• Oversee safe loading and unloading of vehicles and safety of staff/volunteers.
• Interact with donors in a positive, professional manner.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as approved.
• Assist with weekly food preparation and meal service.
• Provide leadership in kitchen operations when needed.
• Maintain proper food storage and sanitation.
