Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago's Daley College is seeking a Part-Time Food Service Aide to support the Child Development Center. You will assist staff in delivering meals to children following USDA CACFP guidelines and DCFS Licensing Standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and an Illinois Food Handlers certificate; one year of food service experience preferred. You must obtain the Food Service Manager certificate within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have Illinois Food Handler certificate.
• Strong communication and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering meals to children per USDA CACFP and Head Start standards.
• Serve meals at proper temperatures and portions.
• Maintain sanitation of kitchen and serving areas.
• Support inventory and proper storage of supplies.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
