Job Description

The Server Assistant/Food Runner is responsible for working with the expo to ensure the prompt delivery of food that is ready in the "hot" and "cold" windows in the kitchen. The role involves delivering food to tables in the Food and Beverage Outlet, working both independently and with the expo to ensure accuracy and timely service. The Food Runner also assists the service staff by bringing additional items needed by guests to complete their meals.

Responsibilities

1. Check each plate of food to ensure it is correct and matches the guest's order.
2. Ensure all condiments are provided with each order.
3. Verify that all items on the order are ready and correctly placed on the tray.
4. Work diligently to prevent breakage and loss.
5. Notify servers of guest needs.
6. Complete all opening, ongoing, and closing side work as assigned by the manager on duty.
7. Stock and restock linens, plates, saucers, and other necessary items at the workstation.
8. Inform the server of any potential guest issues.
9. Provide general resort information to guests.

Qualifications
