Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store in Key Largo is hiring a Part Time Food Production Associate to slice meats, prepare snacks, juice beverages, and support daily operations.

You will follow safety procedures, assist in stocking, cashiering, and other production areas during down times, and operate equipment as required.

Candidate should be at least 16 years of age, provide reliable customer service, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs; flexible availability and team spirit are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Preparing sliced meats and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps.
• Juicing ingredients used to create beverages for customers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.
• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day.
• Utilize a broaster to cook chicken tenders, wings or other items as needed.
• Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.

Part Time Food Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Preparing sliced meats (must be 18 years of age to operate meat slicer) and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps.
• Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Will fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.
• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day.
• Utilize a broaster, to cook chicken tenders, chicken wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed.
• Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.
