Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Full Time Food Production Associate for our Royal Oak location. You will prepare sliced meats and cheeses, assemble sandwiches and wraps, and help with beverage prep while ensuring food safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities include operating rotisserie ovens and broasters, taking temperatures, stocking and cashiering when needed, and supporting other food production areas during down times. Candidates must be 18+ with strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to provide superior customer service.
• Able to multitask.
• Work on your own or within a team.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.
• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day.
• Utilize a broaster to cook chicken tenders, wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed.

Position Overview

Preparing sliced meats (must be 18 years of age to operate meat slicer) and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps. Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Will fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times. Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day. Utilize a broaster, to cook chicken tenders, chicken wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed. Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods. Change oil in broasters.
