Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Columbus, OH is hiring a Part-Time Food Production Associate. You will prepare sliced meats and cheeses, assemble sandwiches, and handle beverage prep in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll assist in stocking, cashier duties, and other kitchen duties when needed, while maintaining food safety standards. Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, can deliver excellent customer service, multitask well, work in a team, and are comfortable with basic math and

Responsibilities

• Prepare sliced meats and cheeses, build sandwiches and wraps.
• Juicing ingredients for beverages.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Fill in other areas (stocking, cashiering) during downtime.
• Operate Rotisserie Oven up to 3 times daily.
• Use broaster to cook chicken items as needed.
• Take temperatures of foods (hot/cold).
• Change oil in broasters.

As a Part Time Food Production Associate you bring fun into our store! No 2 days are ever the same - a great opportunity to learn and even greater opportunity for advancement!

What will you do:

• Preparing sliced meats (must be 18 years of age to operate meat slicer) and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps.
• Juicing: prepare ingredients used to create beverages for customers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Will fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering or other food production areas during down times.
• Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day.
• Utilize a broaster, to cook chicken tenders, chicken wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed.
• Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.
