Job summary

Back40 in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Part-Time Social Media Content Creator & Scheduler to capture the essence of our brewery and restaurant. This role focuses on content creation and scheduling for Instagram and Facebook, with no inbox management, replies, or messages handling.

You will shoot food and beverage visuals, cover events, write on-brand captions, and plan a consistent posting calendar while coordinating with the Executive Chef, Brewer, and Taproom Leader to reflect seasonal changes.

Qualifications

• Proven food/beverage photography/videography experience.
• Strong understanding of Instagram aesthetics and Facebook scheduling.
• Ability to work independently 20–25 hours/week.
• Willingness to attend events to capture visuals.
• Ability to write on-brand captions for posts.

Responsibilities

• Content Capture: shoot high-quality photos and Reels of menu items, beer releases, and taproom.
• Event Coverage: document corporate events and private functions.
• Copywriting: craft compelling captions.
• Content Scheduling: plan and schedule posts for Instagram and Facebook.
• Collaboration: work with Chef, Brewer, Event Director, and Taproom Leader.
