Job summary

Patriot Urgent Care, part of the CRH Healthcare family, is hiring a part-time Advanced Practice Provider (FNP or PA-C) for Solomons/MD locations. You will manage walk-ins and same-day appointments, perform physicals, order tests, and treat acute conditions for ages 2+.

A 10k sign-on bonus is offered and compensation is competitive with flexible scheduling. Requirements include an active Maryland NP/PA license or eligibility, current FNP/PA certification, 2+ years of clinical experience, DEA, BLS

Qualifications

• Active Maryland NP or PA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up.
• Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual.
• Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, labs, and 12-lead ECGs.
• Prescribe meds per Maryland regulations and clinic protocols.
• Educate patients and families and document encounters.
• Collaborate with teams to provide a high-quality patient experience.
