Job summary

Camelot Brookside Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Floor Technician to join our Housekeeping Personnel team. The Floor Technician will maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of all facility floors and assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet care, and reporting hazards. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous floor care or housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Ability to operate floor maintenance equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean, strip, wax, buff, and polish floors throughout the facility.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain carpets through vacuuming, shampooing, and spot cleaning.
• Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines.
