Leading Edge Extended Learning seeks a Floating Site Director to support our before- and after-school programs across Colorado Springs. This part-time role offers ~20 hours weekly with possible additional hours based on program needs and availability.

The ideal candidate is an experienced educator or childcare leader, capable of stepping into different settings, leading teams, and ensuring safe, organized, engaging programs that comply with licensing standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a structured education or childcare setting.
• At least one year of supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to meet and maintain applicable state licensing requirements.

Mansioni

• Provide Site Director coverage and operational support across assigned school locations.
• Supervise children and site staff while maintaining a welcoming, structured program environment.
• Monitor attendance, staffing needs, and required staff-to-student ratios.
• Prepare and implement developmentally appropriate activities using Leading Edge's curriculum.
• Support planning for full days, breaks, and summer programs.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Communicate professionally with families about program updates and needs.
• Travel between school locations as needed and perform other duties.
