Leading Edge Before & After School seeks an experienced Floating Site Director to support our programs across Colorado Springs. This part-time role requires approximately 20 hours per week with opportunities for extra hours based on needs and availability.

The ideal candidate brings leadership, strong communication, and scheduling skills, and is comfortable working across multiple school sites with reliable transportation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a structured education or childcare setting.
• At least one year of supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to meet and maintain applicable state licensing requirements.
• Reliable transportation to assigned schools.
• Consistent availability for both before-school and after-school shifts, Mon-Fri.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using technology and web-based systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Site Director coverage and operational support across assigned school locations.
• Supervise children and guide site staff while maintaining a welcoming, structured program environment.
• Monitor attendance, staffing needs, and required staff-to-student ratios.
• Prepare and implement developmentally appropriate activities using Leading Edge's approved curriculum.
• Support planning and programming for full days, school breaks, and summer programs as assigned.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, school administrators, and fellow team members.
• Communicate professionally with families about program updates, student needs, and behavioral concerns.
• Support staff scheduling and coordinate coverage with other Site Directors and Area Directors.
• Maintain accurate program records, staff and student files, and required incident documentation.
• Support supply ordering, inventory, and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Follow company policies, confidentiality expectations, emergency procedures, and state licensing requirements.
• Use web-based systems and communication tools to stay connected with families, site teams, and leadership.
• Attend required meetings and complete necessary training.
• Travel between school locations as needed and perform other assigned duties.
