Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in the St. Louis area is seeking a part-time Client Office Phlebotomist-Float. The role involves phlebotomy across multiple sites, with a 32-hour work week and flexibility for hours that may start earlier or end later.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of phlebotomy training required (or 1+ year phlebotomy experience).
• Preferred: experience with phlebotomy on diverse patient types, EMR systems familiarity, knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and lab specimen collection per age-related standards.
• Provides post-phlebotomy patient care and timely results reporting.
• Maintains refrigerator temperatures and QC/QA records; reports issues.
• Label and process specimens according to protocols.
• Travel to additional sites as needed and communicate with staff.
