Qualifications

• One year of phlebotomy experience in healthcare is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and blood collection per age-based standards.
• Provide appropriate post-collection patient care.
• Identify need for medical assistance and call code when needed.
• Review temperature and QC/QA records and log findings.
• Label specimens and process according to protocols.
• Obtain written physician orders and order tests in the system.
• Communicate updates to clients and staff and follow up on results.
• Travel to client sites as required.
