Job summary

Solis Mammography in the Houston area is seeking a Float Diagnostic Sonographer for part-time shifts, 7:30am-5:00pm, to independently operate ultrasound equipment and obtain quality images.

The role requires ARDMS certification, a CAAPHEP-accredited program graduate, strong patient communication, RIS/PACS knowledge, and ability to stand for long periods. You will support radiologists and ensure patient safety in a patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Active ARDMS certification and CME compliance.
• Ability to communicate procedures and educate patients about breast health.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality ultrasound images and measurements.
• Document patient and procedure data accurately.
• Explain procedures to maximize patient comfort and cooperation.
• Monitor patient well-being during procedures.
• Assist radiologists during ultrasound biopsies using sterile technique.
