Clearview Cancer Institute is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patients and physicians by providing information, services, and assistance in an outpatient setting. You will help during examinations, educate patients on medications and diet, and assist with procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant experience preferred, and Basic Life Support certification.

The purpose of the Medical Assistant is to help patients and physicians by obtaining and providing information, services, and assistance.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
Preferred one-year experience in related field/position
Preferred Clinical Medical Assistant Certification or Clinical Nurse Assistant Certification.
Basic life support (BLS may be obtained after employment)
Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
Position requires moderate physical effort, standing/walking for more than 75 percent of the day, as well as lifting objects that weight up to 10 pounds. Position may include helping to lift/arrange patients.
This is not a supervisory position.
