Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans division is hiring a Part-Time Flight Paramedic in the Fort Stockton area to join a professional air-transport team. You will transport patients to and from facilities and participate in scene calls while upholding high safety and care standards.

The role requires EMT-P licensure, 3+ years in 911/critical care, and completion of required certifications. A structured on-shift schedule and crew housing are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting as a licensed Paramedic.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma care prior to flight status.
• FP-C certification required within 24 months from hire date.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS are preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required timeframe.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotics counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff to receiving facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and clinical experience.
• Maintain documentation of licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with EMS, hospitals and the public.
• Act as a medical flight team member and participate in briefings/debriefings.
