Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Sales Teammate to contribute to a memorable guest experience through proactive selling, friendly service, and accurate merchandising. This role supports store operations, POS duties, and loss prevention while building a client-based business and upholding Buckle's customer service standards.

The Teammate will work with a positive team, flexible schedules, and opportunities to grow within a customer-focused retailer committed to equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service to each Guest.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education, sharing it with the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service across Front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and the register area.
• Help Guests try on or fit merchandise; check out and bag purchases.
• Prepare merchandise for alterations and know return/exchange procedures.
• Use the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) daily to accomplish goals.
• Maintain Buckle customer service expectations and performance standards.
• Place Special Orders or call other stores to locate merchandise.
• Build and maintain client relationships to develop a repeat business.
• Stay aligned with Buckle’s Code of Ethics and store policies.
