Job summary

Griswold Home Care is recruiting caregivers to support families in Westminster, Carroll County and surrounding areas. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a caregiver-focused team dedicated to compassionate in-home support.

Qualified applicants have CPR, a valid driver’s license, and background clearance. CNA preferred but not required; TB clearance and 1+ year of caregiving experience are valued. Training and growth opportunities exist within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming and toileting.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments.
• Dementia and memory care support.
• Keep families and the office updated with regular care notes.
