Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer for a Natick, MA store. This part-time position offers Saturday–Tuesday shifts with a starting pay of $22.06 per hour and paid orientation.

You will use our shift-pickup platform to claim shifts that fit your availability across multiple sites, gaining site experience in various industries. The role may require irregular shifts with little advance notice, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience),

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Valid driver's license may be required to operate company or client-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and communicate clearly.
• Strong written and oral communication; attentive to details.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal per client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
