Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Access Control Driver in Freeport, TX. This part-time, driving-post role focuses on access control, credential verification, and visitor management at a chemical/petrochemical site.

You will monitor entry points, document activity, and communicate concerns to site leadership. The position requires a valid driver’s license, 1 year of security experience, and a TSA TWIC; a state license is preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license in the state of employment is required.
• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• TWIC issued by TSA is required.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control and customer service at a chemical/petrochemical site.
• Verify IDs, manage visitor credentials, and maintain entry logs.
• Screen vehicles and packages as required and direct traffic flow.
• Respond calmly to incidents, document observations, and assist site response.
• Perform regular patrols of entry points and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
