Job summary

Allied Universal in Three Rivers, MI is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) with Fire Prevention responsibilities to protect and assist on a manufacturing/industrial site. The role includes patrolling, access control, incident response, and customer service for personnel, visitors, and vendors.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, firefighting experience, and completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while enforcing site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving, and appropriate notification.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and shift information per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and shift information accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
