Urbana Country Club is hiring a part-time Bartender - Fine Dining in Urbana, Illinois. The role pays $9 to $16 per hour plus tips, with shifts that vary across evenings, weekends, holidays, and Club events.

The bartender prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, recommends wines, spirits, and craft cocktails, and works with members in a polished private-club setting. Seasonal service can take place at indoor or outdoor bars.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of bartending experience in fine dining, high-end hospitality, or private clubs.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft cocktails is required, along with professional communication, multitasking, cleanliness, and organization.
• BASSET, TIPS, or ServeSafe Alcohol certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days.
• The bartender must stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Process transactions and member charges.
