The Carbon Containment Lab seeks a Fractional Finance Director to lead financial operations for climate-focused programs. This part-time, flexible role partners with the Executive Director and leadership to strengthen budgeting, reporting, and controls while enabling mission impact.

You will manage external accounting partners, oversee grants and contracts, prepare monthly reports and forecasts, and guide strategic financial planning.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in nonprofit or similar organizations.
• Experience managing nonprofit grants, restricted funding, and board reporting.
• Experience in managing annual financial audits.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning expertise.
• Experience overseeing outsourced accounting relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the senior finance lead and strategic advisor to the Executive Director.
• Support Board Treasurer responsibilities and prepare materials for Board meetings.
• Oversee external finance vendors (accounting, bookkeeping, banking, investment, and audits).
• Lead annual organizational budgeting and assist program teams with budgets.
• Produce monthly financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and quarterly updates.
• Oversee processing of foundation, government, corporate, and philanthropic grants/contracts.
• Support budgets, rate-setting, and related activities for initiatives and proposals.
• Manage cash and investment strategy as directed by the Executive Director.
• Establish and execute accounting and financial controls for CC Capital as applicable.
• Strengthen financial systems and internal controls to support growth.
