Job summary

Modern Maintenance Building Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Fill-in Cleaner to support cleaning and maintenance duties in office buildings around the Milwaukee area. This 2nd shift role runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional longer hours as needed for coverage.

Cleaners work independently, travel to various sites, and communicate daily with the Account Manager or District Manager to be dispatched to assigned areas. Prior cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to disposal area.
• Sweep and mop hard surfaced floors.
• Clean glass areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors.
• Restrooms stocked and cleaned; maintain supplies.
• Polish metal fixtures and fittings.
• Duties may change with customer or manager discretion.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures.

Job Skills / Requirements

We are looking for a Part-Time Fill-in Cleaner to perform cleaning and maintenance duties in Office Buildings located in the Milwaukee area. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the possibility of working up to 8 hours occasionally. The Cleaner must be willing to travel to various sites and should be capable of working independently. Previous experience is preferred.

Fill-in Cleaners are responsible for communicating with the Account Manager and/or District Manager daily for dispatching them to the appropriate areas of the building each day. The cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. The assigned area(s) could be multi-tenant buildings, commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, financial institutions, or educational facilities. Cleaners must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES:

• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to designated disposal area.
• Sweep and mop hard surfaced floors.
• Clean glass areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
• Clean restrooms and maintain supplies- ensure restrooms are stocked
• Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Job duties may be modified at any time based on customer or manager discretion.
• Follow all company Safety standards and procedures

This is a Part-Time position2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 5:00pm-10:00pm.
