Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time General Cleaner to join our team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM .

The primary focus of this position is floor care, including operating ride-on floor scrubbers and ride-on carpet cleaning equipment . Additional responsibilities include cleaning offices and restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash and recycling, cleaning glass, and sanitizing work surfaces.

Candidates must be reliable, able to work independently, and able to read and understand English in order to follow laboratory signage and complete required documentation. Previous commercial cleaning experience and experience operating ride-on floor care equipment are preferred.

After completing training, the employee will work independently in an assigned area or route.

• Operate ride-on floor scrubbers and carpet cleaning machines.
• Maintain all floors throughout the assigned building.
• Sweep and mop stairwells and other hard-surface areas.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on floor care equipment, including cleaning squeegees, replacing scrub pads, and rinsing solution and recovery tanks.
• Maintain floors according to company and customer standards.
• Dust desktops, cabinet tops, partitions, and other surfaces.
• Empty wastebaskets and recycling containers and transport materials to designated disposal areas.
• Sweep and mop hard-surface floors.
• Vacuum floors using upright vacuums and/or backpack vacuums.
• Clean glass areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Clean restrooms and ensure all supplies are properly stocked.
• Polish metal fixtures and fittings.
• Follow all company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional cleaning duties or work in assigned areas as directed by the customer or manager. Duties and assigned areas may be modified as needed.

Transportation Requirement

Because the facility is not accessible by public transportation , applicants must have reliable personal transportation . Free on-site parking is available.

This is a Part-Time position2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 5:00PM-9:00PM.
