Job summary

Programmed Cleaning Inc. is hiring a dependable Part-Time Fill-In General Cleaner for a 2nd shift in Wisconsin. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM–10:00 PM.

A valid driver’s license is required; assignments may vary across the Madison area. The successful candidate will clean and maintain facilities, follow safety policies, and complete duties after training. Tasks include dusting, trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, and reporting progress

Responsibilities

• Report incomplete or outstanding tasks to the District Manager.

We are currently hiring a dependable Part-Time Fill-In General Cleaner for a night shift position. The starting pay is $17.00 per hour , with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM–10:00 PM . A valid driver’s license is required .

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities while following all company safety policies and procedures. After completing training, employees will work independently and be responsible for completing their assigned duties and cleaning routes.

As a General Fill-In Cleaner , work locations may vary from day to day based on staffing needs, employee coverage, special projects, and other operational requirements. Assignments may include locations throughout Madison, Fitchburg, Middleton, and the East Side of Madison .

Employees are required to wear the PCI uniform at all assigned locations.

• Dust office furniture, workstations, cabinets, partitions, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials in designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain hard-surface floors.
• Vacuum carpets and floors using upright or backpack vacuum systems.
• Spot-clean carpets and remove stains as needed.
• Clean interior glass and other glass surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Replenish restroom supplies and ensure facilities are properly stocked.
• Clean and polish metal fixtures, fittings, and other metal surfaces.
• Report any incomplete or outstanding tasks to the District Manager.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by management or requested by the customer.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team when needed.
• Comfortable handling cleaning products and chemicals.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
