Part-Time Field Technician I – Saginaw, MI

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks a Part‑Time Field Technician I to join the Professional Services Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) team at the Saginaw, MI office. Key Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing such as soil and concrete, then assess and report data.
• Use drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide work.
• Follow specific methods to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Willingness to work off‑shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Capability to lift, move, push, and pull 30–50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Strong oral communication skills and ability to interpret verbal information.
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Capacity to work outdoors in adverse weather, including hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of construction‑related experience.
• ACI Certification.
