Job summary

The Hillman Group's Robotics and Digital Solutions division seeks a Part Time Field Service Technician in Farmington, NM to service and install kiosks, including Minute Key and Quick Tag devices, while supporting third-party service.

You will handle 25+ kiosks, travel locally, maintain inventory, and work with stores to improve uptime and revenue. Requires high school diploma and electromechanical repair experience; 1–3 years preferred; strong English communication; valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in a similar role preferred.
• Experience with maintenance and repairing kiosks or similar equipment beneficial.
• Fluent English communication including technical jargon.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed.
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when it goes out of order.
• New kiosk installations or swaps newer kiosks of machines in the local area.
• Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech's possession.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

Part Time Field Service Technician - Farmington, NM

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Part Time Field Service Technician in the Farmington, NM area. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).

The territory consists of 25+ kiosks and number ofhours per week is around 20. This is an hourly role based on experience ranging from $22 - $24 an hour. Car Allowance will be provided along withcell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical "jargon".

Competencies - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to always represent Hillman professionally
• Ability to work weekends when required

Operational Equipment

• Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.
