Job summary

LSWDD is seeking an Operations Assistant who is ready to learn our systems and equipment, support staff and volunteers, and help manage our community's waste safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

The role includes assisting with facility operations, directing site traffic, operating heavy equipment, facilitating recycling programs and TIOLI, and assisting customers. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able for outdoors work and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facility operations tasks during business hours as delegated by Facility Manager.
• Assist customers with recycling, garbage, and TIOLI activities and inform visitors about operations.
• Support staff and volunteers and maintain positive working relationships.
