Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking part-time chaplains to serve corporate employees and their families. You will visit client worksites weekly or as needed, offering spiritual support, confidential counseling, and resource referrals with a focus on compassionate care.

Responsibilities include on-site presence, crisis support, funeral coordination, grief counseling, and collaboration with company leadership to promote employee well-being in a Christian context.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting and support a Christian ministry
• Strong listening and communication skills for sensitive discussions
• Diplomacy and customer service in a diverse environment
• Emotional stability to handle difficult situations and grief support
• Proficiency with standard office software and scheduling tools
• Active driver’s license and auto insurance in the service areas

Responsibilities

• Fulfills the mission of MCHAP by serving employees and their families
• Regular visits to company worksites to build trust and relationships
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions and referrals as needed
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and grief support
• Support notifications of death or serious injuries to families and employees
• Provide post-termination care and coordinate community resources
• Participate in new employee orientation about Employee Care Service
