Job summary

Agri Supply in Lumberton, NC is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers on the sales floor, determine merchandise needs, assist with selecting agricultural and tillage parts, and help load purchases. The role requires good communication, basic math, and reliability.

You will maintain neat shelves, process sales tickets, manage inventory, assist with stocking, and support other store staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• Strong communication skills that make customers feel welcome.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and interpret bar graphs.
• Positive attitude and desire to promptly resolve customer issues.
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment, parts and supplies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and determine make, type and quality of merchandise needed.
• Assist customers with selecting and loading agricultural and tillage parts.
• Rotate livestock feed and assist with unloading feed trucks.
• Process sales tickets and write up special orders.
• Maintain neat, clean, organized, and labeled shelves.
• May train and assist new employees in department.
• Work with management to stock and order inventory.
