Job summary

The Bridge Family Center is seeking a Part Time Family Visit Coach in Hartford, CT. You will supervise family visits, support reunification goals, and manage documentation for visits under DCF care.

Responsibilities include planning visits, coordinating with families and DCF, and ensuring safety and positive engagement. Preference for bilingual Spanish/English candidates, with a valid CT driver’s license and required certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; advanced degree preferred in related field.
• Prior case management or visit coaching experience a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred to meet client needs.
• Must demonstrate ability to set boundaries and build rapport with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during family visits, ensure safety and positive environment, report safety concerns.
• Schedule and facilitate initial meetings with families and DCF to explain the program and visit plans.
• Complete assessments and visitation plans, submit documentation on time, and communicate progress to DCF.
• Coordinate discharge meetings and provide backup transportation as needed.
